Now the finished Christmas decoration is set out, complete with the figures and ready to be enjoyed.
The stable has pride of place in our living room. A string of Christmas lights surround it with one little light pushed in the hole at the back to illuminate the scene.
Here we see the inner roof, also covered with part of the reed screen to hide the original wooden box.
